In the Spring of 2007, I was contacted by someone with some questions after he had explored those web pages. He was interested in learning more about fishing in our area. And about learning fly fishing in particular. He could tell that I enjoy teaching. In fact, I enjoy teaching almost as much as I enjoy fishing. He was looking for an instructor to help him get started in Fly Fishing. We met for lunch where we had a long chat. And he became my first client.

I am lucky to be able to enjoy both fishing and teaching while working with clients. I have really enjoyed developing relationships with my clients. We have had some enjoyable outings where I have guided them as they learn new waters. It has been rewarding to help them get the most out of their fishing experiences. I especially enjoy when they send me pictures of fish they have caught when fishing on their own using skills we developed together. It is a win-win arrangement.

Services offered:

I will preface this by saying that teaching and guiding is a sideline for me. I would love to spend more time doing these things that I love, but my full-time career and providing for my family keeps me rather busy. So there is not many specifics or details included here. • Outfitting - helping them select and purchase equipment, appropriate for their individual skills and interests
